A Mirror That Does More Than Reflect
Integrated storage, lighting, and touch-free accessories come together in one smart unit designed for modern, low-maintenance washrooms.
Mirror Box Units
Mirror Box Units offer a practical, space-efficient way to keep washrooms clean, organised, and easier to manage. Instead of having taps, soap dispensers, hand dryers, and other fittings installed separately on the wall, these units bring everything together behind a single mirrored front. The result is a washroom that looks tidy, feels modern, and is simpler to maintain.
Beyond aesthetics, mirror box units are designed to improve hygiene, streamline servicing, and reduce visual clutter, making them a strong choice for both small washrooms and high-traffic environments.
How Mirror Box Units Work
A mirror box unit replaces multiple wall-mounted items with one integrated system. The mirror acts as the main frontage, while the interior houses the tap, soap dispenser, dryer or paper towel mechanism, lighting controls, and storage space.
When users approach the unit, they interact with the visible elements, such as the mirror, lighting, and touch-free activations, while all mechanical and electrical components stay safely concealed. This setup reduces exposed surfaces and keeps the washroom layout simple, even with many accessories in use.

Motion activated front facing mirror lighting and halo back-lit LED lighting available in 16 million colour options.

Accessory icons available etched into the mirror with RGBW back-lit colour options for extra durability.

Increased levels of hygiene and easy to clean surfaces with contactless accessories including water and soap outlets.

Unit widths are adjustable for ideal use with Solid Surface washtroughs, creating a space saving, seamless vanity design.
Key Benefits

Applications
Mirror box units are versatile and suitable for many types of environments. Their clean look, durable structure, and practical maintenance design make them ideal for:
- Corporate offices – supports professional, uniform washroom spaces across multiple floors.
- Schools and education facilities – simplifies hygiene management in high-usage washrooms.
- Retail and shopping centres – maintains a cleaner appearance even during busy hours.
- Hospitality and leisure venues – helps achieve a modern, premium washroom atmosphere.
- Airports and transport hubs – speeds up maintenance in high-footfall areas.
- Healthcare and wellness spaces – supports cleaner surfaces and consistent hygiene.
- Public washrooms – creates a neat, easy-to-manage layout in places with heavy daily usage.
These units work particularly well in locations that need a balance of aesthetics, durability, and easy servicing.
Design Flexibility
Mirror box units can be customised to suit different washroom layouts and usage requirements. Facilities can choose the internal components that fit their needs:
- Taps – including sensor-operated options for hands-free use.
- Soap or sanitiser dispensers – hidden inside but easily accessible for refills.
- Hand dryers or paper towel systems – both options can be integrated depending on preference.
- Lighting controls – for soft halo lighting or brighter task illumination.
- Storage space – for consumables such as extra soap bottles or paper refills.
- Power and water management – neatly arranged inside the unit to reduce visible clutter.
Because the unit consolidates multiple functions, designers have more freedom in how they plan the rest of the washroom, from wall finishes to layout flow.

Lighting Options
Lighting plays a key role in how a washroom feels. Mirror box units offer lighting that not only helps users but also enhances the overall environment:
- Halo or backlighting gives the mirror a clean outline and adds gentle brightness.
- Forward or task lighting improves visibility for grooming or general use.
- Motion-activated lighting helps save energy by turning on only when needed.
- Adjustable lighting colours (where applicable) create the right ambience for the space and support design themes.
These lighting options combine function and comfort without relying on separate fixtures.
Installation & Maintenance
Mirror box units arrive pre-assembled, reducing installation time and ensuring a consistent fit. Once mounted, all internal components can be accessed from the front, making day-to-day servicing straightforward.
- Maintenance teams benefit from:
- Faster refills
- Easier cleaning
- Streamlined checks and repairs
- Less time spent managing multiple external fixtures
This improves overall washroom management and helps maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
